It is rich in calcium, omega-3 fatty acid, and vitamin B12 and contains essential minerals for daily requirements (iron, potassium, and selenium). It has the least amount of fat and cholesterol and is low in sodium.

What makes rabbit meat one of the best white meat is its protein content. It contains the highest amount of protein among all available meats. It is quite beneficial for heart patients, diabetics and asthma patients. It is also easily digestible, making it favorable for people of all age groups.
